Funda Sezgi
COO, Norrsken foundation

Funda about herself: What drove me to the social innovation field is the uncomfortable feeling I got when I noticed how privileged I am for being able to make my own decisions about my own life. I have lived and worked in many different places including Barcelona, San Francisco, Melbourne and Stockholm. I have had the chance to pursue the career paths I chose and acquire a diverse set of skills along the way. While learning is one of the most important drivers for me and I sought to expose myself to new things at every step as I progressed in life, I did not feel that I was pursuing my own path until I started channeling my skills, knowledge and energy towards what really excites me: making the world a better, more inclusive and sustainable place. Please feel free to approach me if you think we have something in common.
